Biography
Hailing from Waterford, Ireland, O Emperor formed as an alternative rock group featuring Paul Savage on vocals and guitar, Alan Comerford on guitar and vocals, Phil Christie on piano and vocals, Brendan Fennessy on drums and vocals, and Richie Walsh on bass and vocals. The ensemble first appeared on record with its independently issued Persephone EP in 2010. After inking a deal with a major label, the band issued the Reverie EP and then delivered its debut full-length album, Hither Thither, still in 2010. Among the tracks on that album are the singles "Po" and "Sedalia."
