Biography
Formed in Austin, Texas, the garage rock band OBN IIIs drew inspiration from a storied history of rowdy guitarists, especially admiring the aggressive punk style of Jay Reatard's band the Reatards when crafting their explosive tracks. Orville Bateman Neeley III, after whom the group is named, established and led OBN IIIs while also serving as the singer for similar acts like Bad Sports and the Pumpers. Prior to issuing their first record, The One and Only, in 2011, the outfit had only put out several 7" singles and performed numerous unruly concerts. A self-titled album came next in 2012, followed by Third Time to Harm during 2014.
