Biography
The band Official Secrets Act originated in Leeds, England, yet shifting their base to London proved decisive in building momentum and drawing notice from both print media and broadcasters. Composed of Thomas Charge Burke on guitar and vocals, Alexander Dunlop Mackenzie on drums and vocals, and Lawrence James Diamond on bass and vocals, the trio earned praise from BBC DJs including Steve Lamacq, which in turn secured spots for several numbers such as the song "Snakes and Ladders" across multiple compilations.
