Biography

Paco, a singer and songwriter of first-generation Mexican American heritage, grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where he fused R&B, funk, bounce, and hip-hop into his sound. After serving as a high-school DJ, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue music professionally. Drawing cues from Omar Apollo, Kaytranda, and French rapper Varnish La Piscine, he shaped a hybrid he calls “Latin funk wave pop,” alternating between English and Spanish lyrics. Early tracks such as the 2021 single “Pretty Boy” and the 2023 Cuatro EP slowly expanded his online presence, yet his visibility surged in 2024 once he connected with Tommy Richman, whose massive summer hit “Million Dollar Baby” had already dominated airwaves. That year Paco dropped his follow-up EP FORego+ and issued the singles “Body Shop./Plan B.,” which featured Richman, and “Letterman,” later included on Richman’s debut album Coyote. Both cuts quickly tallied millions of streams across platforms.
