Parchis

Parchís drew its name from a well-known board game and emerged as a highly successful teen pop ensemble in Spain during 1979. Their zenith arrived throughout the 1980s, by which point they had issued 20 EPs and LPs no later than 1985. A film titled Parchís Entra en Accion appeared in 1983 under the group's banner. Although the act sustained sufficient renown to permeate broader cultural awareness and convened repeatedly across the 1990s and 2000s, the dominance of Latin teen pop outfits like Menudo along with personnel shifts within Parchís precipitated their dissolution. One further assembly occurred in 2008, marking the initial occasion since the 1980s when every founding member performed together onstage.
