Biography
A folk-rock performer rooted in Quebec yet voicing her work in English, Pascale Picard issued her first Anglophone long-player, Me, Myself & Us, during 2007. The accompanying ensemble, operating under the plain name Pascale Picard Band, included guitarist Mathieu Cantin, bassist Philippe Morissette, and drummer Stephane Rancourt. Throughout much of that same year, Picard and the group advanced the record by issuing singles, filming videos, and staging concerts, one of which took place during the Much More Music weekend. Gate 22 appeared the following year. Four years after that release came the next collection, A Letter to No One.
