Biography
Evoking the sound of a French-inflected Super Furry Animals, the Montreal rock band Malajube comprises Julien Mineau on vocals and guitar, Francis Mineau at the drums, Mathieu Cournoyer on bass, Thomas Augustin at the keyboard, and Renaud Bastien on guitar and keyboard. Alongside the release of their albums Le Compte Complet in 2004, produced by Martin Pelland of the Dears, and Trompe-l'Oeil in 2006, the group has collected multiple music awards in its home country.
