Peppina

Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, where she spent her formative years, Peppina works as a versatile singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who writes material in English as well as her native language. Her command of vocals, piano, guitar, and classical flute supports a dulcet, radio-ready folk-pop sound that first attracted notice through actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s open collaboration website and production company, hitRECord. Impressed by her material, Levitt asked the young artist to come to Los Angeles and perform her single “We Can Go Back Again” live on hitRECord on TV. The next year she traveled to New York to start recording her self-funded debut EP, Follow Your Gravity, which appeared in early 2015 and contained the singles “Time Standing Still” and “What You Are Will Show.”
