Biography
Pinkunoizu blends shoegaze textures with folk and pop undercurrents while maintaining a pronounced experimental edge. Andreas Pallisgaard, Jaleh Negari, Jeppe Bris, and Jakob Falgren comprise the group. Anchored in Copenhagen and Berlin, the quartet adopted its name from the Japanese rendering of “pink noise.” The project coalesced in 2009 from the dissolution of the octet Le Fiasko and surfaced the following year with a self-issued live EP. Full Time Hobby then delivered their first commercially sanctioned outing, the Peep EP, in 2011. The same label issued the debut album Free Time! in 2012 and, later that year, a split single shared with Hooded Fang. The Second Amendment EP followed in May 2013, several months ahead of the sophomore album The Drop, which was recorded in Copenhagen.
