Biography
Reignwolf delivers a rugged, high-energy blend of blues steeped in soul and hard rock driven by guitars. Originating from the Pacific Northwest, the group launched in 2012, and their intense performances quickly built a loyal fanbase, secured slots at prominent festivals, and led to support tours with major rock acts. Following their initial release, the 2013 single "Are You Satisfied?", their audience expanded through songs like "Hardcore," "In the Dark," and "Wanna Don't Wanna."
The band came together in Seattle, Washington during 2011, consisting at first of Jordan Cook on guitar and vocals, Joseph Braley on drums, and David "Stitch" Rapaport handling the buitar, which he describes as a hybrid of guitar and bass. This dedicated threesome rapidly established themselves through live shows, issuing their first digital single "Are You Satisfied?" in 2013, which accumulated more than three million streams and brought them national attention. They supported the Pixies on tour that year and performed at festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits domestically, plus Glastonbury and Download internationally.
By the end of 2013, "In the Dark" emerged as their next digital single, surpassing 1.5 million streams, with "Lonely Sunday" arriving the following year in 2014. That same year saw them opening for Black Sabbath across North America, Italy, and Poland, along with a feature in Rolling Stone's "Ten New Artists You Need to Know." Partnering with the UMG-distributed Monkeywrench label, they put out "Hardcore" in 2016, and also appeared in an installment of Cameron Crowe's Roadies on cable TV. The 2018 release "Wanna Don't Wanna" preceded a headlining North American tour, at which point David "Stitch" Rapaport had departed and Stacey James Kardash joined on bass.
