Roller Trio

Roller Trio came together as an experimental unit in 2010 during the members’ studies at Leeds College, where saxophonist James Mainwaring, guitarist Luke Wynter, and drummer Luke Reddin-Williams first combined forces. Their sound fuses jazz, rock, and electronic elements into a singular improvisatory identity. The trio captured the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award in 2011 and earned a Mercury Prize nomination the following year. Also in 2012, they issued their self-titled debut full-length album.
