Seasurfer

In 2013 songwriter and guitarist Dirk Knight formed Seasurfer to merge the ethereal dream pop sounds from his previous group Dark Orange with punk elements drawn from the Damned and the Ramones. He described the endeavor as dream punk and brought in vocalist Dorian E. along with bassist Mikel Wegener, completing the Hamburg-based German trio. Following the submission of initial demo recordings, the band secured a contract with Saint Marie Records, known for their affinity toward shoegaze and dream pop, before proceeding to produce their first full-length album Dive In, released in June 2014.
