The solo endeavor of Sindri Már Sigfússon, who founded Seabear and writes songs, Sin Fang merges intimate indie rock with '60s pop, Icelandic folk, and indie electronica. Sigfússon first issued the debut album Clangour under the Sin Fang Bous moniker in 2009, then shortened the name to Sin Fang. On the fourth album Spaceland from 2016 he leaned into a glitchy electronic sound before joining Sóley and Múm's Örvar Smárason for the understated, electro-acoustic Team Dreams in 2017.

Raised in Reykjavik, Sigfússon began Seabear alone, yet it expanded into a seven-piece group that delivered its 2007 debut Ghost That Carried Us Away. The follow-up We Built a Fire appeared in 2010. Returning to solo work, Sin Fang—originally known as Sin Fang Bous—pursued comparable ground by blending indie pop, rock, folk, and electronic ingredients. Sin Fang Bous placed its first album, Clangour, with Morr Music in 2009. Dropping the “Bous” suffix, Sigfússon issued the second album Summer Echoes in 2011. Flowers arrived at the start of 2013 and adopted a more anthemic approach to the project’s style. Spaceland, released by Morr Music in 2016, retained an intimate mood while replacing remaining folk traces with electronics; the record featured Nordic solo artists Jónsi, Sóley, and Farao. Sin Fang and Sóley reunited with Örvar Smárason for the evenly shared 2017 release Team Dreams. Credited to all three participants, the album included rhythm-section players Arnljótur Sigurdsson on bass and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen on drums, both drawn from Summer Echoes. The 2019 set Sad Party favored dreamy synth pop.
