Biography
Oakland rapper Sleepy D, who belongs to both the Rude Boyz and the HBR Click, started his solo path in 2009 by releasing the signature track “Sleepy F%#&in’ D.” The single appeared on his 2010 LP Sleepy Deprivation, issued via the Town Thizzness imprint, and he also put out the mixtape The Tonite Show: Sleep Talking that year. His next project, Don’t Go to Sleep, arrived in 2014, while Wake Me Up When I’m Rich came out on Rude Boy Entertainment in 2015.
