Mobile, Alabama native LeParis Dade, known professionally as OMB Peezy, crafts reflective and emotionally candid rap rooted in a style that merges West Coast cadences with his Southern upbringing. Initial mixtape efforts soon evolved into polished full projects such as the 2021 release Too Deep for Tears and the 2025 album Drifting Away.

Born in 1997, Dade began rapping at age 12 after absorbing Southern influences including Kevin Gates, Soulja Slim, and Masta P. While still a teenager he generated significant attention with the 2016 track "Lay Down," which reached Nef the Pharaoh; the Bay Area rapper then shared it with E-40, leading to Peezy’s signing with the veteran’s 300 Entertainment/Sick Wid It imprint. After moving to Sacramento he issued the 2017 singles "When I Was Down" and "Porch," followed later that year by the EP Humble Beginnings. A steady stream of singles arrived in 2018 alongside the collaborative mixtape Young & Reckless with Sherwood Marty and Peezy’s own Loyalty Over Love. His first proper studio album, Preacher to the Streets, arrived in April 2019. Two years afterward came the sophomore set Too Deep for Tears, which showcased guest spots from King Von, Blac Youngsta, and Rylo Rodriguez. That same year he also dropped the Drum Dummie-assisted mixtape In the Meantime 2, then joined DJ Drama for the 2022 project Misguided.

Following scattered singles and standalone releases throughout 2023, Peezy unveiled his third studio album, Le'Paris, in December, featuring appearances by Tee Grizzley, Kevin Gates, Hunxho, and additional artists. The Will A Fool collaboration Still Too Deep surfaced in 2024, while an updated remix of "Lay Down" brought in GloRilla. Drifting Away arrived in 2025 and included contributions from Mozzy and Skilla Baby.
