Born in 1997, North Bay Area rapper DaBoii spent his early years in Vallejo, California, before connecting with rap collective SOB X RBE. Alongside fellow members Slimmy B, Yhung T.O., and Lul G, he began uploading clips of the group’s raw, relentless material online in early 2016, swiftly building a following in the millions. Tracks fronted by DaBoii, notably “Calvin Cambridge,” drew particular notice and surpassed a million views in under twelve months. His debut solo mixtape, Y.W.N. (Young Wild Nigga), surfaced in summer 2017 and featured appearances from every SOB X RBE member plus Young Pinch and OMB Peezy, with production handled by Remedy and Parts Unknown.
