Emerging from the Pacific Northwest, Lil Mosey crafts a melodic, singsong delivery shaped by Atlanta trap aesthetics. The pleasure-seeking MC first drew widespread notice in late 2017 through the viral breakout "Pull Up." Its booming trap foundation, airy tune, and phrasing reminiscent of Lil Yachty and Desiigner quickly amassed millions of streams for the young Seattle artist, who followed with his debut project, the RIAA-certified gold mixtape NorthsBest, in 2018. The subsequent full-length Certified Hitmaker, boasting appearances from Chris Brown, Gunna, and Trippie Redd, entered the Billboard 200 at number 12 in 2019 and yielded the number eight Hot 100 entry "Blueberry Faygo" in 2020, opening doors to multiple standalone releases before the EPs UNI, VER, and Love U Forever arrived between 2022 and 2024.

Brought up by his mother on Seattle’s north side, Lil Mosey began writing rhymes in his early teens after hearing Meek Mill’s Dreams and Nightmares. He left high school early to chase a recording career, traveling to Los Angeles for sessions and uploading initial tracks that built an audience around “Off White” and “So Bad,” both later included on the self-released 2017 version of NorthsBest. “Pull Up” closed that year and led into 2018, when Interscope issued the follow-up single “Boof Pack.”

Rising visibility brought touring opportunities alongside SmokePurpp, Smooky Margiela, and Juice Wrld. The same “Pull Up” later appeared on the 2018 studio album Northsbest, a distinct project from the earlier mixtape; it reached the Billboard 200’s upper thirty and contained the platinum-certified “Noticed,” which charted on the Hot 100 and peaked at number 37 on Hot R&B Songs. “Bust Down Cartier” surfaced in spring 2019, followed by “G Walk” with Chris Brown, the latter featured on the year-end sophomore set Certified Hitmaker that also housed verses from Gunna and Trippie Redd.

Returning swiftly in 2020, Mosey issued joint tracks including “Back at It” with Lil Baby, “Top Gone” alongside Lunay, and the Hot 100 number-eight single “Blueberry Faygo.” “Holy Water” arrived in February 2021, while further solo offerings such as “Try Me” and “Not the Same God as Mine” appeared that year, along with his contribution to Internet Money and Lil Tecca’s “Jetski.” In 2022 he released “Falling” and “Breathin Again” plus the EPs UNI and VER; Love U Forever, issued on his newly established label of the same name, followed in 2024, accompanied before year’s end by “Not You,” “Call,” and the collaboration “Pull Up” with MC PH and JD on tha Track.
