Biography
The Danish ensemble Sorten Muld fused age-old Scandinavian folk traditions with modern electronic rhythms, its lineup consisting of Ulla Bendixen, Martin Døssing Ottosen and Henrik Esben Munch. Their first release arrived in 1996 as a self-titled LP; the following year the trio issued Mark II, a major commercial achievement that received eight Danish Grammy nominations. Five years afterward came III.
