Biography
Emotive pop laced with hard rock edges emerges from the Los Angeles group Stars in Stereo. Its members include vocalist Bec Hollcraft, guitarist Jordan McGraw, bassist Ryan McCormack, and drummer Drew Langan. The project took shape in 2011 once McGraw, McCormack, and Langan watched their earlier outfit City (Comma) State disband, after which Hollcraft auditioned for the trio’s next venture. Stars in Stereo spent most of 2012 on the road, a period that saw the first public airing of the single “The Broken.” The self-titled debut album followed in 2013, its tracks shaped by producers Mike Green (Icon for Hire) and Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Daughtry).
