Biography
Stuart Moxham served as primary songwriter for the minimalist electro-pop outfit Young Marble Giants and also performed with the Gist prior to launching a solo career during the 1990s. Unlike his band work, these later releases spotlight his own lead vocals—Alison Statton having handled those duties in Young Marble Giants—and rely on more expansive, conventional rock arrangements that share scant resemblance to the group’s earlier approach.
