Biography
In September 1996 the alternative rock outfit Sunset Valley came together in Portland, Oregon. Beginning as a trio fronted by Herman Jolly alongside guitarist Jonathan Drews and bassist Eric Furlong, the band later grew to five members when keyboardist Jeff Saltzman and ex-Heatmiser drummer Tony Lash joined the lineup. Their first album, The New Speed, appeared in 1998, followed twelve months later by Boyscout Superhero.
