Biography
Born on May 11, 1926, Dutch vocalist Teddy Scholten-van Swieteren secured victory at the 1959 Eurovision Song Contest. Regular recordings and tours cemented her status as a leading performer across the Netherlands, where she also presented the popular music television program Zaterdagavondakkoorden. In addition, she hosted the 1966 National Song Festival.
