Biography
Originally known for their punkabilly revival approach, the Amazing Crowns started out under the name the Amazing Royal Crowns and put out a self-titled debut album in 1997, only to face legal action from the Royal Crown Revue that required shortening the moniker. The group consisted of vocalist Jason "King" Kendall, guitarist J.D. Burgess, bassist Jack "the Swinger" Hanlon, and drummer Judd Williams; under the revised billing they later issued further recordings such as Payback Live and Royal, both of which appeared in 2000.
