Biography
Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, The Real Group came together as an a cappella quintet made up of three men and two women. Drawing inspiration from Bobby McFerrin, the ensemble delivered expert takes on bop and vocalese plus several original pieces for its debut album on Town Crier, an achievement that moved Jon Hendricks to declare, "I wish I was in this group."
