Biography
Emerging from Germany toward the end of the 1990s, the contemporary jazz and soul duo Tok Tok Tok unites vocalist Takunbo Akinro with saxophonist Morten Klein. The two first encountered each other during college-level music studies. After appearing in multiple ensembles, they developed the Tok Tok Tok concept and turned their focus to a blend of acoustic soul, pop, and jazz. Their debut record, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, came out on BHM in 1999. Additional albums have followed since that time, among them From Soul to Soul in 2006.
