Biography
Tribe 8, a lesbian queercore outfit, came together during the initial years of the 1990s, featuring Lynn Breedlove on vocals alongside Lynn Flipper handling rhythm guitar and Leslie Newman on lead guitar. Because of the band's provocative stance, Jello Biafra, who previously fronted the Dead Kennedys, decided to add them to his Alternative Tentacles roster, resulting in the issuance of a pair of albums by the group. In addition to indie rock clubs, the musicians perform at festivals dedicated to women as well as gay and lesbian audiences.
