Biography
Vusi Nova, known for his soulful and gospel-infused vocal style, entered the music scene in 2013 by releasing a modern take on Etta James's classic "I'd Rather Go Blind." This track featured on his debut album, Walk into Light, issued that same year. With the release of his third studio effort, Naninina in 2016, he rose to prominent status throughout South Africa, his homeland.
Vusumzi Nongxa, who entered the world in Port Elizabeth during 1984, harbored ambitions of a singing career from his earliest memories. The 2013 album Walk into Light contained his rendition of "I'd Rather Go Blind," which achieved hit status and secured him support performances for Kem in local venues. After issuing occasional singles, he issued the album Did It for Love the following year. Naninina, centered around themes of loss and spotlighting the track "Thandiwe," came out in 2016, earning gold certification. In 2018, he produced the gold-certified breakup record Manyan-Nyan.
