Biography
We Are Catchers serves as the outlet for Liverpool singer/songwriter Peter Jackson. His piano-driven songs draw from the Merseybeat tradition of his native city while also echoing the mid-1960s West Coast style of the Beach Boys and Love. He first appeared under the name Catchers, cutting rudimentary home demos that led to sessions with producer, composer, and ex-Coral guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones. Those recordings secured a deal with London's Domino Records after he adopted the We Are Catchers name, prompting the March 2014 release of both the debut single "Tap Tap Tap" and his self-titled album.
