Biography
Emerging from the split of Musica Wenge in the early 1990s, Wenge Musica BCBG (Bon Chic, Beaux Gens) proved the more successful of the two resulting ensembles. Vocalist Jean-Baptiste "J.B." M'Piana Tshituka (born: 1967) led the group and collected three-time best Congolese singer honors as well as three-time best Congolese star recognition. In 1996 the band took the name J.B. M'Piana and Wenge Musica BCBG. Feux De L'amour, its first album after the change, reached gold record status.
