Wormwitch

Wormwitch, hailing from Canada, fuse black metal with doom, punk, and raw rock & roll in a deadly combination, taking cues from acts like Celtic Frost, Disfear, and Darkthrone. The Vancouver, British Columbia-based group came together as a quartet in 2015, consisting of guitarist Colby Hink, bassist Kyle Shields, drummer Max Vüst, and vocalist Robin Harris. Their first EP, The Long Defeat, appeared that same year, leading Prosthetic Records to ink a deal with the band. The punishing full-length debut Strike Mortal Soil arrived in 2017, and after a substantial lineup shift, Heaven Dwells Within followed in 2019. Wolf Hex emerged in 2021 from the refreshed four-piece, with a split EP alongside Sadistic Ritual coming out in March 2024. July saw the release of their self-titled album on Profound Lore, now operating as a trio featuring vocalist Harris, drummer Izzy Langlais, and guitarist Hink.
