Biography

Zeddy Will first built a sizable following online through his upbeat videos, which showcased a breezy, self-assured personality. Only afterward did he begin recording music in a lighthearted manner, achieving immediate streaming success with the upbeat, late-2023 release “Cha Cha.”

Raised in Queensbridge, New York—the same neighborhood that produced MC Shan and Nas—he gained recognition for his rapid-fire, comic clips across several platforms. His first single, the playful “Confidence Is Key,” surfaced in 2022 and was soon joined by “Bop It,” a collaboration with Dayymein, and “Blah Blah.” The 2023 club-oriented cut “Freak You,” made with DJ Smallz 732, spread quickly, yet “Cha Cha”—a track that reworks Mr. C the Slide Man’s familiar wedding favorite “Cha Cha Slide”—reached a wider audience and drew additional media attention.
