Ziana Zain entered the world in Malaysia during 1968 and went on to establish herself as a prominent figure in regional pop while also working as a model and actress. Her debut release, Madah Berhleah, appeared in 1990. The project drew favorable attention, prompting the arrival of her follow-up effort, Ziana Zain, two years later in 1993. Critical momentum built with the subsequent records Setiaku Di Sini and Punkcak Kasih, which earned her multiple pop music honors. A temporary career break for pregnancy proved brief. By 1999 she was once again collecting award nominations alongside strong regional sales. Another platinum-certified set, Aku Cintakan Mu, surfaced in 2001, and she issued a live album two years afterward in 2003. Zain simultaneously cultivated an accomplished screen career that included several regional box-office successes and industry awards.
