Biography
Originating from Kentucky, Brandon Tussey handled guitar and vocals while Chris Griffith played drums and Wayne Griffith covered bass; the three had served in the Connie Dungs across the entire 1990s before later appearing in A Radio With Guts. Once the pop-leaning Dungs lost the urge to continue in that vein, the musicians chose instead to pursue a more emotional and heartrending style, prompting them to launch A Radio With Guts. After performing throughout the South to develop their songs, they captured Beat Heart Sweet Stereo and placed it with Stardumb Records for a 2002 release.
