Biography
Since the early 1990s, when he and YaSuKo O. established Melt Banana, Agata has handled guitar duties for the group. His performances stayed almost entirely within that context, so a solo outing did not appear until 2004, when he put out Spike, a guitar-only recording, on Tzadik, the label run by John Zorn.
