Biography
High-school friends Carlos Niño, a former Los Angeles radio DJ, and Rhode Island native Fabian Ammon Alston formed the hip-hop/electronica duo Ammoncontact. Their first release appeared in 2001 on the compilation Dublab Presents: Freeways, where they contributed the track "Chord, Pts. 1-2." Two years afterward, Plug Research issued their debut full-length Sounds Like Everything. One in an Infinity of Ways arrived the next year, followed in 2005 by New Birth on Ninja Tune. Ammoncontact remained with that label for their fourth album, 2006's With Voices, the first to include a guest artist on every track.
