Biography
Andra Ramadhan, guitarist from the massively successful Indonesian rock outfit Dewa 19, established Andra & the Backbone as a trio in Jakarta during 2006. Deddi Suryadi and Stevie Item completed the lineup. The following year the EMI-affiliated group issued its debut full-length, Andra & the Backbone. The album track “Musnah” subsequently received extensive rotation on regional radio stations and MTV.
