The Changcuters

In Bandung during 2004, the Changcuters assembled as an Indonesian rock band whose sound drew from established forces like the Rolling Stones, the Doors, and Aerosmith together with later acts such as the Stone Roses and Oasis. Their first album, Mencoba Sukses, appeared in 2006. Following the "how to be rock & roll" handbook, the Changcuters each assumed the surname Changcut in the manner of the Ramones and the Donnas.
