Anne Mattila

Anne Mattila launched her recording career as a Finnish iskelmä vocalist with a 1999 debut, following her birth on May 31, 1984, in Karvia, Finland. Widespread attention arrived in 2002 through the self-titled album Anne Mattila, which reached the Top 20. From 2003 onward the singer has placed projects inside the Top Ten of the Finnish albums chart on a regular basis while issuing several singles annually. Three successive releases—Enkeleitä Onko Heitä (2003), Unihiekkaa (2004), and Perutaan Häät (2005)—advanced to the Top Five, and comparable success met the later albums Tyynyyn Jäljet Jää (2006), Nyt Voimme Jatkaa (2007), and 40 Unohtumatonta Laulua (2008). Although her album catalog has grown steadily over time, her output of singles has been even more prolific, typically amounting to a few each year.
