Biography
Distinguished by minimal surrounding controversy along with lyrics focused on social concerns, Baby Wayne differed markedly from most dancehall DJs. By restoring the uplifting rhythms of classic reggae to the dancehall sound, he issued Ram DJ through Heartbeat Records. On October 30, 2005, he died of pneumonia in Kingston, Jamaica, after checking into a local hospital sixteen days earlier with complaints of chest pains.
