Bertin Osborne

Born Norberto Ortíz Osborne, the Spanish entertainer Bertin Osborne departed his family home upon turning eighteen. Residence in the United States introduced him chiefly to country performers, inspiring his pursuit of popular music and an initial appearance in a talent competition during 1971. His recording career nevertheless commenced ten years afterward with the signing of his debut contract. In tandem with his achievements as a Latin pop vocalist, Bertin Osborne hosted television programs in his native Spain and earned acclaim as an actor through lead parts in Mexican soap operas.
