Big Noyd established his reputation through appearances as an MC on Mobb Deep's The Infamous and Hell on Earth. Following the 1996 issuance of the latter project, he put out Episodes of a Hustla via Tommy Boy Records. That release secured a position on the R&B charts before the year concluded.
