Biography
The hip-hop pair consisting of Lil' Dap and Melachi, who operate under the name Group Home, made their initial appearance in 1995 through the compilation Guru Presents Ill Kids Records, issued at roughly the same moment as their debut album, Livin' Proof. Despite Guru's support for the duo, Group Home stayed inactive for several years before returning in 1999 with A Tear for the Ghetto, an album that included guest spots from Guru, Steph Lova, and the Jerky Boys.
