Biography
Originating from Long Island, Keith Murray established his first professional connection with Erick Sermon of EPMD during 1994. Together they crafted his debut single, "The Most Beautifullest Thing in This World," which registered as a hit before the year concluded. Following a guest spot on Sermon’s album Double or Nothing, Murray issued his debut full-length in 1995 and named it after the earlier single. The project earned gold certification, after which he issued his second album late in 1996. It's a Beautiful Thing arrived in 1999. His subsequent release, He's Keith Murray, surfaced in 2003 via Def Jam, yet he was promptly dropped from the roster after allegedly choking a Def Jam staff member. He signed with Koch in 2007, issuing the well-received Rap-Murr-Phobia, then delivered Intellectual Violence the next year.
