Biography
Nashville, Tennessee outfit Blank Range weaves country, Americana, punk, folk, and psych-colored indie rock into a vibrant, hook-laden sound that calls to mind Gaslight Anthem, Pavement, Lucero, and Drive-By Truckers. The quartet formed in 2013 with vocalist Jonathon Childers, drummer Matt Novotny, bassist Taylor Zachry, and guitarist/singer Grant Gustafson, then put out the EPs Phase II in 2013 and Vista Bent in 2016 before unveiling their first album, Marooned with the Treasure, on Sturdy Girls Records/Thirty Tigers in 2017.
