Biography
Brooke Hyland gained initial recognition through her appearances as a student dancer on Lifetime’s reality series Dance Moms while simultaneously developing a parallel path as a pop artist. A Pittsburgh native born in 1998, she completed her schooling in that city and trained at the Abby Lee Miller Dance Company. Her participation on the program, which featured performers from the same studio, began in 2011. Serving as the oldest member of the cast, she shared screen time with her mother Kelly and sister Paige. The dance-oriented teen pop single “Summer Love Song” arrived in 2012, followed a year later by her self-titled debut full-length album.
