Biography
Born in Los Angeles, actress and vocalist Emily Osment, younger sister of one-time child performer Haley Joel Osment, entered the profession early by winning a part in the 1999 feature The Secret Life of Girls at age seven. Subsequent screen credits included Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, and a recurring turn as Lily Truscott on the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. Her recording career opened with a guest spot alongside Billy Ray Cyrus on the 2007 album Home at Last and a contribution to the soundtrack of R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: Don't Think About It, in which she also appeared. After lending tracks to multiple Disney anthologies, she voiced an interest in exploring rock-oriented material; co-writing sessions involving members of Eve 6 and Plain White T's produced enough songs for her debut EP, 2009's All the Right Wrongs. She altered course on her first full-length release, setting rock aside in favor of electronic dance-pop for 2010's Fight or Flight.
