Biography
Actress and singer Victoria Justice first gained widespread recognition through her starring turn as aspiring performer Tori Vega on the Nickelodeon series Victorious, which ran across the early 2010s. In addition to appearing in numerous film and television projects, she contributed vocals to the show’s soundtrack albums and later issued independent singles such as the 2013 track “Gold” on Columbia Records and the 2020 release “Treat Myself.”
Justice entered the world in 1993 in Hollywood, Florida, and began performing at the age of ten. Early guest roles on Gilmore Girls and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody soon led to a series-regular part on the Nickelodeon comedy-drama Zoey 101, which aired from 2005 through 2008. During the same period she appeared in the 2005 feature When Do We Eat? and the 2006 film The Garden, and she also recorded a cover of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” that surfaced in 2007.
At seventeen, in 2010, she landed the lead role on Victorious, a sitcom centered on a fictional performing-arts high school in Hollywood, California. Her musical performances from the four-season run were collected on the 2011 album Victorious: Music from the Hit TV Show, which reached the top of the soundtracks chart and number five on the Billboard 200; two further volumes, Victorious 2.0 and Victorious 3.0, followed in 2012. After issuing her debut solo single “Gold” in 2013, Justice starred in the one-season MTV crime series Eye Candy in 2015. Subsequent screen work included the 2016 Fox television production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, in which she portrayed Janet, as well as the films The Outcasts, Bigger, and Summer Night. She resumed her recording career with the 2020 single “Treat Myself.”
