Biography
Jasmine V, recognized for her dual roles as vocalist and actress, crafts pop songs that blend R&B influences with dance-floor energy. She entered the world as Jasmine Marie Villegas in 1993 in San Jose, California, launching an acting career while still a child through assorted commercials and television credits that encompassed Disney Channel titles such as That's So Raven and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. At age 11 she secured a development deal with producer Damon Dash, prompting her initial work on original material. In 2011 Villegas reached a broad audience by opening for Justin Bieber on the My World Tour. The same year saw the release of her mixtape S(he) Be(lie)ved, while 2014 brought the single "That's Me Right There" featuring Kendrick Lamar.
