Cierra Ramirez first achieved widespread notice through her central role on the television drama The Fosters, where her dual talents as singer and actress found a prominent platform. She entered the recording sphere in 2016 with the dance and R&B-inflected EP Discreet.

Ramirez entered the world in Houston, Texas in 1995 and cultivated an early fascination with performance that yielded her first national spotlight at age ten on Showtime at the Apollo. Acting roles soon followed, among them guest appearances on CSI: Miami, Desperate Housewives, and Zooey 101. In 2007 she assumed the recurring part of Jasmine on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Additional credits arrived, including the lead in the 2012 feature Girl in Progress and a recurring turn as Kathy on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She has embodied Mariana Foster on the Freeform drama The Fosters since 2013. Building on that television profile, she joined the roster of Tribeca Music Group, an independent label and artist management company. The six-track Discreet arrived the same year, delivering swaggering, pop-oriented R&B and dance music. The set contained “Faded,” which included Casey Veggies, and “Vanity,” assisted by labelmate Dylan Holland. While directing fresh attention toward her recordings, Ramirez continued her screen work with further episodes of The Fosters and its spin-off series Good Trouble. She released the single “Bad Boys” in 2018.
