Emerging from her prominence on social media, Baby Ariel launched a musical career by issuing the digital single "Aww" in 2017. Ariel Rebecca Martin entered the world on November 22, 2000, and first appeared on Musical.ly in 2015. By 2017 the platform had drawn 22 million followers to her account, extending her reach to additional networks. In 2016 she entered an agreement with Creative Artists Agency, after which her exposure in mainstream outlets steadily grew. December 2017 brought the arrival of her debut single, "Aww."
